Not my book, but considering it. These are the only images available.

 

There appears to be dirt or scuffing at the top part of the spine (visible on the back cover). And what appears to be distributor overspray on the top edge (again visible on the back cover), but would there be distributor's overspray on a book from 1964?

Looks 7.5/8.0? Has the fore edge been trimmed?

 

Don't know. I wondered about trimming, too. And about that gunk at the top of the spine.

 

At first glance, I thought it might be an 8.0, but now I'm wondering if it's not closer to a 7.0.

I was sending a batch of stuff to CGC, and decided to include this book without the benefit of pressing or dry cleaning.

 

THE VERDICT:

 

CGC 8.0 OW/W

 

I picked it up for about 60% of current GPA for 8.0 copies, so I'm pleased.

 

At some point I might still send it to Joey to see if it can be improved.
