correct, it's just the inner well. no cracks on the case

Actually, I think it's the wedge CGC sometimes uses which is placed inside the inner well to prevent movement. I consider it a good thing to have a wedge present.

Ah yes, some books have a little space to move in, and others are locked in tightly. I wonder how they arrange that or assemble them to adjust the space.
