Blackhawk - where does this panel or cover come from ?

Hello,

 

I attached a picture of a foreign reprint issue of Blackhawk (published in 1973).

 

I can't relate the image to the original issue. It's not a cover from Blackhawk No. 109 to No. 243.

 

Does anybody know where this image is coming from ?

No idea what book its from. The planes look like mid to late 50s to me, but I'm certainly no expert.

The covers from this foreign series are clearly lifted from the late 50s-mid 60s DC blackhawk series. Some are even re-colored as ex issue 109

Dillin appears to have done most of these covers and interiors.

Possibly from an interior? If I have time I'll look around. Might be able to track it down in the showcase reprints if no one has copies lying around.

 

The foreign titles are loosely translated as 'Space Pirates' and 'Space Century Hijackers' depending on the reprint. One of the interior titles to 140 is the Space Age

Marauders, which would be a possible translation.

Thank you, gentlemen, for your replies. Especially paratrooper who, iirc, has currently other things on his mind.

 

Some of the other issues of this series do have panels from the US-Versions as covers, so I'm pretty sure that this is also the case here in this issue.

 

And I also concluded that issue No. 140, or No. 158, are the ones from which the panel was taken.

 

So, if anybody owns one of these two issues: Could you please look up if this panel is appearing in the issue and post here on which page and which panel no. ?
