My Private Auctions for the three (3) paintings listed below end today!

 

I am accepting offers through TONIGHT -- Saturday, November 13 at 11 pm EST.

 

None of these originals has EVER been offered previously. This is the first time they have been available.

 

The minimum bid is listed at the beginning of each item description. If the ONLY offer I get at the close of the auction is for that amount, then that person will get the art. I will accept bids from anywhere in the world.

 

I will gladly tell any interested parties the current high bid if asked.

 

Postage & Insurance will be added onto the winning bid. I can also ship FedEx if the winner prefers and has a FedEx account.

 

For payment, I will accept a certified check or US postal money order. Outside the US, a wire transfer is preferable. I will also accept PayPal as payment if you pay the fees.

 

Take note, I will consider time payments over a 90 day period if you ask me in advance.

Arantza DEVIL DOLLS 2 Cover Painting

Sinfully good fantasy painting by Arantza which was published as the cover to SQP’s DEVIL DOLLS 2 (2007), which is one of the fine art books this publisher puts out.

 

Fantastic piece of a gorgeous trident wielding female devil kneeling provocatively in front of the gate to Hell itself! A stunning piece by this artist who truly is one of the best in the business!

 

I took the following from SQP’s ART OF ARANTZA introduction -- Of the many supremely talented artists SQP has had the pleasure to introduce in its thirty-plus years of publishing, few have garnered the attention and affection of one particularly amazing young woman - Arantza! Her work continually stands out in a field dominated by men as simply drop-dead exquisite! Her sense of design, composition, and attention to detail is remarkable. Arantza's ability to make her subjects, as varied as possessed demons, vampire queens, and savage warrior maidens all have a unique quality of fleshy realism!

 

Signed by the artist. Painted on thin board, I believe the medium used is oils but I am not 100% certain. Original measures 11-1/2” x 16” and is in excellent condition.

 

This large original was scanned in two pieces and stitched together on the scanner so you will see a line running across the art which DOES NOT appear on the original.

 

This is an amazing piece! I wish I could keep it for myself but it’s on consignment and it must be sold!

Doug Beekman THE SPECTRE #33 Cover Painting

Stunning original cover paining by Doug Beekman to THE SPECTRE #33 (DC, Third Series, 1995). The Spectre stands next to a coffin in a cemetery. Moody and Marvelous!

 

Original is a huge 20” x 30” done in mixed media on illustration board. Condition is overall Very Good but there is a teeny nick on the lower left edge and the slightest curve to a couple of the corners. Otherwise the piece is in excellent shape and is just amazing to look at!

Joan Pelaez JUNGLE TAILS 4 Cover Painting

Gorgeous original cover painting by Joan Pelaez which was published in SQP’s JUNGLE TAILS 4 (2003), which is one of the fine art books this publisher puts out.

 

A beautiful blonde jungle girl in a leopard-skin bikini who bears a striking resemblance to SHEENA swings through the trees with several monkey companions. A stunning piece by this underrated artist, who is definitely one of the best in the business!

 

I took the following from SQP’s THE ART OF PELAEZ -- With every drawing, this intensely talented young man is making more manic collectors of his meticulous and sensual portraits. Whether the subject matter is vampires, demons, warrior queens, mermaids, or jungle girls, Pelaez brings his unique style and eye for detail and creates pure magic!

Signed by the artist. Painted on heavy illustration board, I believe the medium used is oil but I’m not 100% certain. Original measures 13-1/2” x 19-1/4” and is in excellent condition except for a bent top right corner and a small ding in the top margin edge, all very minor. Otherwise the piece is in great shape! The scan does not do this original justice, it looks even better in person!

 

This large original was scanned in two pieces and stitched together on the scanner so you will see a barely visible line running across the art which DOES NOT appear on the original.
