Bad Monkey or Fearful Seller...

I was watching this auction for about a week. It was due to end earlier tonight. Last time I checked it the bid was up to $305. Next time I checked the seller had ended the auction early with the reason that the item was no longer available.

 

Then I find this auction. Why would a person end an auction inside 4 hours and then relist it 3 hours later with a buy it now $55 Less than it would have sold if they had let the first auction end?

 

Seems shady to me. Granted... I wasn't going to buy it, but I was tracking to see what the final bid would be. I have one at CGC that I'm hoping comes back in the same grade or higher.

 

Any thoughts?

I would think he ended it because the high bidder had zero feedbacks and the second high had -1.

He put a BIN, but wants immediate payment to get rid of the bogus buyers.

I don't think he did anything wrong.

 

BTW. Does anyone have a copy of the letter that came with the book?

I have a platinum spidey 1 and would like a copy of the letter to go with it.

It's interesting that he has now dropped the BIN to $180. $105 off what it would have sold the first time.
