The books are being graded and there are a few unexpected twists and turns. The prizes are shaping up to really nice as well. One of them I didn't even know could be personalized. :o

I didn't see any information/detail as to where and how you can donate prize books...please post here how people should offer prize books...

 

a. Should we post a scan of the intended book(s) to be donated here?

b. Or wait for the thread in the Buddy Can You...section?

c. I assume we hang onto the book(s) and then send them to the winner

Tom,

 

Thank you for your generosity, as well as anyone else who wishes to donate towards the contest. Presently we have enough books to cover all of the prizes we plan on giving out in the actual grading contest; however any books donated would be used in the auction to follow.

 

After the contest, the contest books and any books donated will be sold with the proceeds going to the Heroes Initiative. It is a wonderful way to keep Nik's memory alive and enable others to share in the moment.

 

Anyone interested in donating a book or two can PM (joeypost), (drwatson) or (gacollectibles) and we will work out the details.

We all wear these on the nights we meet to discuss "Contest matters".

nik would be proud...this contest is becoming big enough that we need sponsors to pay for people's time. This is a guargantian effort, and I for one appreciate the time and effort involved here.

I think Nik would be proud of plenty things that are being done on these boards.
