Happy Roman Winter Solstice!

Happy Roman winter solstice!!!!

I know, I know. Since this is a relic of the Julian Calendar and virtually all modern countries have adopted the Gregorian Calendar (which places the solstice at approx. Dec. 21) into use within the last couple centuries, you're ALL going to say that this day doesn't have any significance outside of a celebration of when the northern hemisphere's days begin to grow longer and the nights become shorter.

But I'm a traditional kind of guy! And us Southern Californians love that sun!!!

So Happy Roman winter solstice!
