Another Walking Dead question?

Hi all,

I was wondering how long after the original issues are out do they get reprinted in trade format? I see the trades are 6 issues and would be cheaper then buying the floppy's.

I may be wrong, but after every sixth issue comes out, the trade is usually out by 3-4 weeks later.

That's about right. They usually get the TWD trades out pretty quickly because there are no extras.

they are also going to re-release the single issues weekly in a month i think. Should get caught up relatively fast that way also.

Just noticed that #3 is signed 2002 by Tony Moore. But #1 and #2 are 2003.

 

Anybody know the story behind that?

It just means the artwork on the cover was drawn in 2002

I guess the significance is that cover #3 was created before any of the cover art in the series. Kind of neat.

 

Or it could just mean that he signed #1 and 2 later. DOH

Great series. I really love it. Due to it's the brilliant storyline and stuffs in all six episode, i included it in my latest favorite tv shows. I was continue myself with watching it's episodes, but i never hope that it will end after just 6 Original AMC series episode.

Yes.

 

The cover to issue #3 was the cover to their original pitch to Image.

 

They were falling behind schedule and to finish issue #3 on time they decided to simply color this image they already had done. (thumbs u

 

So this was drawn before #1. I believe they also printed the original pitch in the special edition #1 if you want to read it.
