Amazing Arizona Comic Con Report

85 posts in this topic

Well I just got back from the Comic Con. It was a long day. There will be pictures of girls and board members later.

Just a few observations first.

1. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be.

2. A lot of the dealers looked like they had the same stock as prior cons. Not all but quite a few.

3. No anime to speak of. I really enjoyed this!!!

4. Costume wearing was a lot lighter than usual.

5. Except for the Walking Dead variants the rest just seemed to set there. I could have had even the limited to 50 and 100 books at the end of the day. There were even variants from recent cons laying around. I think these ultra rare variants (good/bad girl books) may be a fad and people are less interested now.

6. There were many dealers with 50-60% there stock and there didn't seem to be many takers.

7. Kirkman is fricken popular as heck right, the signing was nuts!!!

8. People still love dollar books.

9. This was a good con to go to if there was an artist you like was there as they didn't seem busy.

10. Everyone seemed friendly/ more laid back at this con.

I will post more details including pictures of half naked girls. etc and Board members I talked to after dinner.
