The last Vancouver Comic Show on Jan 16th wasn't even posted on the website until the beginning of January. :screwy:

 

Leonard had some whiny excuse why it hadn't been updated yet. Several sellers here have tried to organize bigger and better but when it comes down to it most back out. Sucks that Vancouver settles for this comic show.

When the doors open at the Calgary show Saturday morning people stream in for hours. Saturday's attendance is about 10,000.

Westjet just had a 1 hour Thurs. sale on flights to Calgary from Winnipeg, MB or Abbotsford (suburb of Vancouver), BC offering mid-week flights to/from convention week for $59 + taxes. They showed 6 seats available, but I type so slow they sold out of those dirt :pullhair: cheap seats in minutes.

I'll have some exciting news soon about the Joe Shuster Awards ceremony's hosts and hopefully our keynote speaker.

 

The time, btw, for the presentation ceremony is 6PM on Saturday, June 18th in Boyce Theatre, part of the BMO Round-Up Centre.
