Purchased it offline for only $4800 USD from the recent auction on Ebay. What a Coup See Ebay Item # 2229617182 under Completed Auctions. I now have both the Marvel Mystery Annual and Cap Annual hence now need to seek another holy grail.

I wouldn't - unlike your MM annual this copy is a solid 2.0. Any meaningful restoration would be moderate to extensive and possibly devalue the book. As it is rare enough in any condition, I think there will always be a premium on unrestored copies that don't look completely trashed.

I concur. I will postpone the resto for now and see how things go as it is aesthetically superior the the Marvel Mystery Annual which was a veritable rag prior to resto.
