My favorite is Flash 203. It is one of the most unusual covers of the bronze age and one of the few Neal Adams wash covers. What make it so unusual is the fact that the person walking in the street, behind the Flash, is Stan Lee. A picture of Stan Lee was taken while he was walking down a city street and Adams incorporated this into his cover. When Stan Lee found out he was about to make it onto a DC cover, he went ballistic. Just before the book went to press, Lee's face was altered by adding facial hair.

I've always been partial to Detective 405. I also liked Detective 411 when I first saw it, but oddly enough that copy had been in the sun too long, and most of the color had bled out. It actually works better as black & white than with the all the yellow there. (oh, well).

And ya gotta love GL/GA #76!

Almost as great as the Wrightson covers on these titles;

House of Secrets 88, 90, and 91.

No one can draw a woman (or person) running in terror better than Adams.

House of Mystery 185 and 191.

The look of surprise or fear is not exagerated but is believable. It almost makes me want to turn around and see if there is something behind me.
