You have to understand that there are many boardies for whom anything that is not a superhero book simply will not compute.

Honestly, how can a comic fan not recognize Richie Rich as a top 30 SA key?

Antman is alright but Richie Rich has sold 10 times as many comics. Little Dot-lamest character ever.

When I look at the voting so far, there are lots of bizarre choices or people desperately trying to game their choices for some reason.

 

Regardless of whether you`re the most diehard Marvel or DC fan, I don`t see how AF 15, FF 1, Hulk 1, Showcase 4, Showcase 22 and B&B 28 cannot be unanimous picks for the top 30 SA books.

All have garnered 3% of the vote. Not sure how a poll of this size works. Would imagine each pick works out to 1/30th of 100% for each person voting. Would have thought all of the obvious picks would have 3.33% based on that system.

You are right in that the max that any book can get is 3% on the poll (no decimal points due to rounding).

 

Tim's comment is more to the point that he finds it difficult to believe that anyone does not believe that AF #15, for example, is not a top 30 book. Some may not believe it isn't the top book but this should not have any impact at this stage.

How does a one set of votes per person = "desperately trying to game their choices"...? Each person can only vote once for their particular fav. Is there a special feature to tell when a vote is REALLY earnest...?

I just screwed up the tally by hitting submit before picking the full 30. I think I only had 12 - 15 on my list when I clicked the button. Sorry. lol

...... :cloud9: .....I voted for Little Dot # 1 and knew t wouldn't get the love that it deserves. Those Harvey's were ALL over the place when I was a kid in the 60's....I loved 'em. The FF were definitely my favs, however.....they still are. GOD BLESS...

Not really a joke -- from the looks of the list, a lot of people did just that!

 

It was surprisingly easy -- I hit exactly 30 on the first pass.

You vote for SOME obvious books but don`t vote for other obvious books.
