He was very nice to me when I met him years ago at a Chicago Comic Con.

I considered Dwayne a friend. I thought he was a great guy and an incredible talent. I am very shocked and saddened to see he has passed on. I loved Milestone comics especially Hardware and Static. His work on the Justice League animated series was outstanding as well. Overall though, he was a really nice guy and we always had great talks.

 

He was kind enough to come onto the ComicZone back on 2005-12-06. I don't put this up here for any cheap promotion but rather to share what a cool guy he was. Please listen to it if you'd like to learn more about him.

Milestone produced some of my favourite books during the 90s, consistently enjoyable reads. His Justice League animated work was great as well.
