Help! Venom counterfeit issue??

I recently won an auction for Venom: Lethal Protector #1 black variant - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=35765&item=2225632090. I fear that I may have won the counerfeit issue. According to http://www.comicspriceguide.com/p-issues.asp?t_ID=3533, one does exist. Can anyone help me decide if mine is counterfeit in a way other than the marvel logo? I can not tell from the pics if my logo is good or bad. Perhaps some has a detaile scan of the real deal and/or the counterfeit. Please help as I am about to send it to CGC.

You should give Paul Litch a call at CGC. Paul is CGC's Modern Age Specialist and could explain more to you regarding this book. On an interesting note there was a copy of Venom #1 that turned up recently and has a white cover. .

Thanks for the welcome lighthouse. I spoke with CGC about the counterfeit and got some good info. He also referred me to other previous posts about it here on the forum. I have found them and have realized that my issue appears to NOT be fake. Whew! I will now submit it for grading. Since I found the other posts, no one needs to reply to this one any more. Thanks!

In the links yuo privided I was certain it was authentic. In the auction you won the Venom black was missing part of the Marvel Logo at the top, which is what the real variant looked like. On the counterfeit copy the marvel logo is fully in tact with the words Marvel. That's my take from the pictures, but I have never held one in person so?????
