(March 3, 2011) – Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox announced today that the 3D theatrical launch of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace now has an official release date – February 10, 2012! I'm not a huge fan of 3-D but I do like SW on the big screen! It'll be the first time my kids get to see it in a theater too.

exactly - some of those scenes were meant specifically for the big screen + booming sound systems.

 

although Eps 1,2+3 were a slap in the face - i will go see it because im a SW dweeb...it's my lot in life
