Ricky,

A well-centered book exhibiting some wear to edges and creases to lower spine plus rounded upper corner will make this a probable CGC VF+ 8.5 book IMHO.

Ricky......look on the label provided in the top of the plastic case.....it should tell you there. Let me know if you have any more questions. crazy.gif

BTW.....I'd probably go along with an 8.5 guess as well.

If you can't read the number on the label, you can type in the certificate number into the database as well. You can figure a grade that way. wink.gif

heh heh.....I just edited my post and included an 8.5 guess as well. It's a little tough sometimes with these slabbed books to tell what's on the book and what's on the case. smile.gif

Sorry Ricky...I was to lazy to guess, so I cheated...I won't let anybody know though.... smirk.gif

The scuff marks are on the case. The spine stress marks and impacted corners are on the book tongue.gif

I'd give it a VF 8.0, but it sounds like it may have gotten a higher grade..if it did, sounds like you got a major gift. :\

Ricky, sure hope that's not the 9.2 that you just won because you were royally screwed! frown.gif

Is that a rhetorical question? Bloody gift bigger than any that I have gotten! wink.gif

Man......if I had a scanner I'd post a picture of my Marvel Team-Up #20 I have that is graded a 9.2 by cgc. I always thought that cgc undergraded it because to me it looks like a 9.4

Oh well......I guess it was good for me since I picked it up pretty cheap and it looks better than the grade given.

That's always a possibility but I'd be willing to bet that there's nothing wrong on the inside. It truly looks like the book was never opened.

I can see some minor issues with the outside that probably put it on the border line between a 9.2 and a 9.4 and they went with a 9.2 to be safe. But that's just a guess. But it certainly doesn't look like Ricky's scan. tongue.gif
