There are two non colour breaking tics near staples

Does any of the spine damage break color on either side?

 

Looks like a 9.2 if not even better.

Nope.

The spine Damage is restricted to front cover only and does not show through the cover

I think I can see staple stress marks in that tree. 8.5

 

Maybe it's part of the art I am seeing?

8.0/8.5, there is some kind of indentation in the top BC near the middle on the white border. Indentations of writing or some sort, it's a little dirty too.
