Wow, nice copy! I'm thinking 7.5 because of the dust shadow. Possibly, an 8.0 seems it's on the back cover.

The book, minus the "dust shadows" , looks better and sharper than my 9.2

I agree, minus the dust shadow PQ and minor bends of the back cover, that could be a 9.4 easily.

All depends on how dark the paper is but I can see 6.5 if the paper is really tanned.

If memory serves, I don't think it can grade over an 8.0

But the sellers usually want well over $1000 for them. But if it is sealed, you have to break the seal to get the book out.

 

If the book is pristine, it will fetch a pretty penny

There is a Pedigree on Ebay right now, but for $5000, I would get a lower grade copy of the real ASM 1

Very nice copy, James - tough to grade with the shadow, but it is kind of part and parcel with the original packaging, so maybe it won't be discounted as much as an errant dust shadow? Food for thought.

Yes, the corners are sharp and the front cover is smooth. Just got it back from Joey who pressed out a couple of bends and I will send it off to CGC soon. So, get your best guesses in!
