American Cancer Society Comic 1965?

6 posts in this topic

does the title continue on the inside - "There's Danger"?

Based on a quick web search seems to have been first published in 1965. But also seems to still be in print as I found this referecne:

WHERE THERE'S SMOKE ... a free comic book to keep your children from smoking. Your local cancer society or American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Rd., Atlanta GA 30329.

I'm sure if it's still in print they must have changed the art. I don't think many kids would identify with Eddie Haskel and Wally Clever...

I don't know. Last year I picked up a couple of comic books at the post office about various business concepts and they looked pretty Beaver and Wally to me! grin.gif
