so what did everyone think of this series?

 

i have to say that this serie featured some beautiful cover art!

 

but i'm gonna have to wait until the tbp to read the story and admire the inside art, i'm too afraid of damaging my perfect NM+ copies!

 

i love and hate this format at the same time! (not to mention the CAN$10 cover price)

I thought Perez's art was INCREDIBLY weak in a number of places... but I also didn't care for the story much either. The whole "different group of heroes on every panel" didn't do anything for the fanboy inside me, I guess.

the covers were great... really enjoyed that stuff. Interior work was spotty, story was fairly lame, but to be honest, there's no good way to write a crossover multi hero story... you're trying to fit too much in at once.

 

and btw, your NM+ copies? read the darn things! right now EVERYONE has NM/NM+ copies, stores have overstock of each issue as well... they won't be worth more than cover in the future, so get your money's worth and READ THEM!

Buy an extra set and read them. I don't have mine yet but I'm dying to see how the Thor/Superman battle went. The only cover art I really like is no. 4.
