Writers anyone?

26 posts in this topic

Steve Gerber, Steve Englehart, Chris Claremont and Jim Starlin. In more recent times, Grant Morrisson, Peter Milligan, Garth Ennis and Alan Moore. Currently, probably Ed Brubaker.

All of these writers had their own individual spin on the medium whilst totally respecting it, and more than once pushed the envelope.

That's a great list.

I believe that's my top four of all time. Brubaker, Kirkman & Frank Miller sit a step below these four in my mind.

I also really like Mike Allred.

Steve Gerber wrote some damn fine books back in the day.

my favorite writer is Steve Gerber after Stan "The Man" Lee!

What a lot of people don`t remember is Steve Gerber was the creative force behind those early GI JOE and Transformers animated shows from the 1980`s.
