Sneak Peek at New Acquisitions!

 

I have put together this preview look at many of the new purchases I have made over the last month before they go on the website.

 

While I was at the LA Wizard Convention I was fortunate enough to purchase the Ohio Copy of Amazing Fantasy #15. This gorgeous copy of the first appearance of Spider-Man is a Universal CGC graded VF+ (8.5) with off white pages. The cover is glossy and the richness of the colors is striking. Best of all there is no bidding, no sniping, no buyer’s premium and no games- the book is priced to sell at $32,500.00.

Last week I met with a customer who was interested in selling his collection. The collection was comprised of low, mid and mid to high grade MLJs. Titles included Black Hood, Blue Ribbon, Jackpot, Pep and Zip Comics. This seller really loved his books and spent a long time amassing the collection. Though it was hard to part with books he read and enjoyed so many times he felt that his children would not appreciate them and thought it would be better if they made their way into the hands of collectors who would.
