Does anybody have or know the whereabouts of the Oakland copy which was in an old blue label graded by CGC as a 9.6 copy. It would be interesting to know if its still in its original case as after years of making enquiries it seems to have disappeared

I was scared to bid on that after it got past $200.00. No back scan and the smallish offset miswrap. It does look nice though.

Hang in there, you'll find a nice copy. Two weeks back I looked at a ungraded collection that included 2 copies of 227, they will continue to surface

I think I posted it 20 or 40 pages ago.

 

My guess is only 9.0 at the high end, but who knows.

Beautiful book. If it doesn't grade as a 9.2 or higher, I'd say that you're at least assured of a strong 9.0. What's the PQ like?
