They are giving away the phone attachment to take CC payments via the smart phone. All you do is sign up and receive your reader in 2-5 days.

 

Fees are:

Card-present (swiped): 2.75%

Card-not-present (keyed-in): 3.5% + 15¢

 

Figured this may be helpful for some who sell at cons.

They were handing these out free at WonderCon... Great concept and a great idea for vendors who don't take credit cards at the conventions.

Based on the fact that your card info can be teken from your card while it is in your wallet, I'd say that this option isn't any more of a risk than leaving your house in the morning.
