I will have this and a few other horror titles up for sale this week. I would rather post them here first.

Incredible hard to find and until this one arrived the highest graded copy was 9.2.

That 9.2 is deslabbed when I saw the change in census.

Just checked my HOM missing roster...now it's 174,175,190,205,230,256,278,314

Still the same old issues haunting me... lol

technically if I was more aggressive issues 230 onward would be the final issues. Oh well...the quest for the final 8 continues.

I remember slabbing that 9.2 all those years ago. :(

sorry man

I wanted to read it and once I saw it was no longer highest on the cenus I figured time to open and read.

I opened a bunch of them that I guess you had slabbed and in all honesty I think this 9.2 got hammered on page quality since I have offwhite to white books from the same series and era and they look the same in which this book got hit with cream to offwhite. Back is pretty clean and the cover only has a few slight problems. I am surprised its not a 9.4. I will even go as far to say this book could be pressed that would probably gurantee a 9.4.

Why so low a grade?

A mystery if you ask me. I'd call CGC but since they don't really document defects in the notes anymore who will really know?

The LRC looks like a faint dog ear to me...maybe that was it. The URC looks weak as well.

I've seen 9.4s that have looked worse, if we judge a book by it's cover.

This is my first book, first CGC book as well.

I bought it simply because I love the cover. I also really like Luis Dominguez who drew the cover, altho' for some reason he is not credited on the label.

I like the fact that its 35 years old and in mint condition as well, and the fact that its the highest certified copy, altho only 3 have been graded thus far.

:)
