Well, after many many years of collecting this title (6 years to be exact)...I've just hit 100% on this title. Miracles do happen. Top census / 1 of 1

All issues are 9.4 or better.

Congrats Sterling.

btw, it sold. I'm sitting in a corner, smiling and bleeding. (btw, that's a Joker reference in the Batman: Arkhan Asylum game I just finished)

Dover,

I would have been sick to my stomach to see that book changing hands if I had once owned it in a 9.8 pedigree. What were you thinking? :o Best cover of the run IMHO.

Am I the only one that is freaked out by your avatar? Something about it....

Dover,

I have been meaning to say the same to you, but thought it rude! lol

Who is that woman? She doesn't look like she approves of comic books.

she is Ayn Rand a Russian who fled the Bolshevick revolution, fled to America where she took up residence and began writing about the evils of socialism. She wrote Atlas Shrugged, which to me is the greatest single source of free market capitalism and individual human spirit ever written. It is the filter through which all of my descisions are made.

Not very attractive, however......

Sometimes the gain in value of an asset gets to the point where it is so great that selling is a better course of action than keeping. I think I have several books in that category, have thought about selling and chickened out. Someday, however, the Dover Adams collection will go up for sale, just not sure if it is in a week or a year or 20 years.

Sterling got to the point of the price was so high, it was worth selling.

it was sitting there, wanting to be bought. I nibbled, the seller countered, took about 5 back and forths but I believe I paid a fair price. Really a very powerful cover and PC..... :cloud9:
