Weird thing was I was so taken with the condition, overall composition and the general feel of the book I didn't realize the child was IN a wheelchair until I got home. (I got all of these latest posts on my trip with Jim. After looking through a two foot stack of books you tend to go by impressions more than detail! )

143 - thanks for sharing the personal story, i love hearing that sort of thing! For me it was HOM261 and the reaper of corn, Man, the panel with all the faces on the corn kernels really freaked me out! I'll have to scan the page...

Its been my experience that Ghosts #63, 65 & 66 are the toughest 3 to get. Infact #65 is the only one i need for the run. That copy I posted of #63 is the only one i was able to find.

I picked up a 65 and 66 from Chuckles a few years ago... but no 63. I didnt return them, so they must have been decent..

I always check mile high & lone star for 65, and they are always sold out! Every lot i bought on ebay was always missing 63-69, its a conspiracy!

Ghosts # 65 was the LAST issue in the run for me too! Also weird that I purchased it from Chuck. Kept checking, always sold out then poof it was listed and I nabbed it! I do need an upgrade on my # 63 though.

WWTs # 24 & 25 are definitly 2 of my top 10 covers in that run!

Way to go! I love this book for many reasons!

Most covers are cut and dry, meaning you can tell what's going to happen, eg. man about to kiss skeletal bride or kids just about to be seen/caught viewing a murder/secret happening. This cover you don't really know the story here, the boy doesn't look frightened so much as surprised to me. Why is he in a wheelchair? Is that creature there to hurt or help? Then there's the colors! That deep blue against that lime yellow/green! And of course the Kaluta art. Wow! Great all around, nice choice.

Shiv... your GHOSTS 65 is on the way, brother! Sent the books out priority yesterday. I was lucky enough to get doubles of 65. I actually need 21 more books to go to finish my GHOSTS! AAaaaaaaahhhhh!!!
