House of Mystery #200 CGC 9.4

 

Lots of #200 available. I sold my HOM 200 9.6 copy for only $125 to a fellow board member.

I see issue 200 a lot. I'm going to check the census on this because I think it is proabably one of the most easiest to attain in high grade. Good thing it has a cool cover.

I'm just getting back into collecting after a long, long break. There are definitely some insane prices going on for some of the DC Horrors, based on what I saw on EBay. I'm just glad some nice 9.2's or occassional 9.4 slip through at a decent price.

The HOM 176 Pacific Coast copy is gone. I inquired about it and got word that the book sold 2 days ago. Someone on the boards probably picked it up.

9.2 is the grade I focus on as the 9.4 and up grade seems to draw out the big spenders. However the first several issues of the HofM and HofS are a pain to find in 9.0 and above so there is competition in those grades for that range of issues.

 

In HofS 81-91 not a single 9.6 sale has been recorded yet. Thats goes back to 2002. I wondered what price a 9.6 would fetch in the market.

I can't believe a cgc 9.2 is fetching that amount. Then again, I believe only 1 copy grades higher. I wonder if someone on the boards did pick it up and is planning on making a flip on it. Apparently there is a buyer at the $575.

I love my PC copies of HOM. Seemed expensive at the time, but it's looking better and better as these copies keep going up and up. [speculator alert ]
