I was really impressed with the Gold Keys.

 

I haven't seen those covers in years. Nice.

 

Nice books Sterling. I don't understand why the one received the 9.0 though.

 

They give any reason or did you call?

 

 

I haven't had a chance to call. It seems to be hit or miss--the books I thought would be 9.2 ended up being 9.6 and vice versa

That shrunken head cover is #4, the technical 1st issue of the ongoing run. I too was obsessed with Shrunken heads

 

This Grimms #43 is one of my favorite covers, and I have only seen this one copy for sale.

I was excited this morning when I saw 16 new responses to the thread. But instead I get the same drivel on the General Boards. Horror, please, Horror!!! (directed to no one in particular)

Sterling, get a life. The same books keep getting reposted over and over again. Most of which almost eveyone has seen or has a copy of. While it's nice to see the covers and all, lighten up.

BTW, I'd rather see the same book covers over again than to hear some juvenille discussion.

Look 143. First I get into Marvel BA Horror for a while. Then It goes to DC. Then in the midst of a DC buy I fond these uber HG Charltons. Now YOU come along with these Gold Key books. I am only human. HEWWWW-MAHN! Must I start seeking Gold Keys as well!

Good call, Sid. Luckily for me, I once had a large collection of Eerie, Creepy, Vampie, Nightmare etc! So no surprises there but definitely been checking out the Mag section and getting some synapses tweaked!

Thanks BOC! Using my criteria now I would've never sent it with that defect...continuing to live and learn the CGC way

 

BTW, tip on my scans: if you copy the URL and change of the file name (jpg) to start with l- (that's a lowercase l and a dash) you get a monster scan for your up close and personal inspection.
