Whats the opinion out there on one detached staple - and how it affects grade..

 

is there a maximum grade a book can receive with a detached staple? (The staple here is detached but present and still attached to some interior pages inc. centerfold)

 

I graded this a 4.0 - just curious what the other opinions out there are!

you really think this could get a 6.0? that seems a bit unlikely to me no? any other opinions?

Nice front cover. It looks like it could be a 6.0 but the staple issue? Does CGC count each page that is detached as a tear?

According to the 40th ed. OCPG, the first grade mentioning allowing a detached staple is 3.0 but I'm not sure how it affects a book that looks 6ish otherwise.

I'm just glad mine looks better
