What have you read and what do you enjoy?

Off the top of my head I can think of dozens of TPBs I would recommend. If you haven't read these, they would be my first choice of non-mainstream titles to look for:

Mr. X

Bone

Strangers in Paradise

Archie Americana Series '40s, '50s and '60s

Zot

Sugar and Spike

Are there any TBS or collections of these? I've been picking up reader copies when I can find them but have new for a nice book reprinting them. The best I have found is one of the old DC Digests.

What Borock and OG said. Can't go wrong with those books.

Also, if you like horror stuff, check out "Hellblazer". And Alan Moore's run on Swamp Thing.

For superhero stuff, check out: Daredevil Visionaries Vol. 2 (Frank Miller's classic run), V for Vendetta, Batman: The Long Halloween.

One rule of thumb.....Can't go wrong with Vertigo titles.
