well i cant find my original thread anywhere but id thought id update you guys on these books

 

more have been added fro Heritage's auction

 

there a 40, 42, 50 in 9.8

 

no pics yet but cant wait to see them

 

seems like some ultra high grade spideys are hitting the market

Yeah...that 39 is so sweet. Love the colors, centering and sharpness of that book. :cloud9:

the thought of those books sliding around in the inner well makes me cringe.

I am so, so glad I sold my Spidey collection. There's no longer anything special at all about a 9.0-9.4 SA ASM to me. There are way too frickin' many hg copies out there.

They are still special, but the bloom definitely comes off the rose a lot faster when all these HG books come out of the woodwork.

ASM is synonymous with comic books. I dont think their value will fail.

 

 

They already are.

 

I'll be buying mid-SA 9.6s for $100 a pop within 10 years.

they aren't saying they aren't valuable; saying they aren't "special".

 

In my mind, any issue after about #20 or #25 in that grade never really was special. Certainly nothing above #30
