they aren't saying they aren't valuable; saying they aren't "special".

In my mind, any issue after about #20 or #25 in that grade never really was special. Certainly nothing above #30

ASM31... two copies in 9.8

ASM32... two copies in 9.8

ASM37... zero copies in 9.8

ASM46... one copy in 9.8

ASM52... two copies in 9.8

ASM63... zero copies in 9.8

They're not exactly part of everyone's set of wall books.

When you`ve got to go to all the way up to 9.8 to for a copy to be "special", that means the book just isn`t "special" in high grade.

So buy a nice raw 7.5 with nice gloss and white pages for a tiny fraction of the price.

Or a glorious 2.0 copy that has some kid's name written on top of the cover and Spidey's eyes colored in with ball point pen for a fraction of that lower price.

Every one of my ASM's is special, because reading them makes me remember what it was like to be 14 and reading them for the first time after hunting them down via garage sale, LCS, road trip, and mail order.

Heritage added some more Sarley books to the auction. This one caught my eye:

I don't think it is possible that there is a nicer copy than this one.
