The semi-final round heats up! We began with 460 Neal Adams covers. The boardies have narrowed down the count to 134 covers after the 14 preliminary rounds. The stakes are much higher now, as the cream of the crop from the 5 semi-final rounds will advance to the FINAL round for all the marbles, and prizes for the participants. Eventually we will have a favorite SA/BA Neal Adams vintage cover champion! :acclaim:

 

This third semi-final round features the next 28 covers from 1970-1971 in chronological order that made the preliminary cut. :banana:

 

Every cover remaining is a winner. It is up to you to determine which covers are a cut above the rest. Holy great covers, Batman! Bronze Adams kicks things into high gear. Anyone brave enough to participate this round has their work cut out for them. This is by far the toughest round yet. So many classics, and so few votes. Vote count expanded to 10.

Has anyone else noticed that putting Batman 227 in a group shot with these covers from the same era, it really doesn't stand out?

 

There are sooo many wonderful covers in this round that I needed more than the alotted 10 votes!

Mine, but instead of DC Special and HOS 189, I voted for GL 76 and WH 10.

If there were a even dozen, I would have also voted for WH 9 and Flash 203.

Also Detective 405 and DC Special 6 were great covers. Just too many quality covers in this group to limit a vote to "only" 10 covers. I would be estatic to own even 1 of any of the original art covers from this group. Adams was at his peak here.

Brave and Bold 93 and House of Mystery 186, and of course, GL 76, Bats 221 and 227, and then....too many great covers here to only pick 10. If I could only trade some of those picks in earlier rounds for some left on the table here.
