Worst Comic Book Movies Ever

191 posts in this topic

Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze This craptastic film from 1975 starred the "amazing" Ron Ely. It sucked hard but at least it had Pamela Hensley in it, who played Princess Ardala in Buck Rogers. So it had that going for it, which is good.

This is one of those movies that I saw as a very young child & never again.

It holds a certain kind of magic in my memory.

Is it really that bad?

I should make an effort to see it. hm

The image of the Hoff with strategically placed shar pei puppies is going to require some mental bleach.

I actually shuddered with revulsion just now.

...at least you didn't throw up in your mouth a little, like I just did. GOD BLESS...

The Punisher All terrible but the 1989 version with Dolph Lundgren is brutal. Bruuuuutal!

I didn't know that this movie existed. Is it really bad?

Actually I thought this was an o.k. movie for it's time back in '89...

Not great, but the story wasn't that bad.

The best part of the flick was when he killed the mob boss

in front of his own kid and the Bosses kid said he would get payback.

The punisher handed the loaded gun to kid and said finish it.

The kid doesn't and he tells the boy to grow up a good man or he will have to deal with me.

The acting was below par and the special effects were hard to sit through,

but it wasn't the worst I have ever seen.

I would give this movie a 5 out of 10.

I think that there should be two categories--

1. Movies that had budget related issues

2. Movies that had plenty of money but were still terrible.

For the second category I nominate the first Hulk movie. It managed to both suck and blow with a blockbuster budget.

Yeah except the Jane version was PG and had Travolta...so it goes to the bottom of my list.

RE: The Punisher.

Dolph Lundgren version, horrible.

Punisher: War Zone, by far the worst of the three.

Punisher, Thomas Jane version, very watchable. Knowing that Jane is a fan, and a lot of the choices made making the film makes it a fun basic cable, nothing else on, film to watch.

Jane version was "R". :gossip:

Jane version is at least watchable as all others were pure garbage.

Okay I have to add the 2010 SyFy channel Almighty Thor movie to the list..first it really truly verily sucketh mightily second the actors looked to be reading off of cue cards which only added to the suckiness..

jane version felt pg...he didnt even get any memorable kills in until the end with the knife...

He puts a blade from a paper cutter thing through a guys skull in the apartment building. He throws boiling sauce on the Russian's face and them pushes him downstairs and disfigures him. I think it was pretty "R"

I loved it and loved how the Welcome Back Frank characters were featured.
