Are there any shows that Andy Kubert typically shows up to? Maybe NYCC? Others?

For those interested, I was emailing with Don Rosa's rep and asked about what Rosa will and will not sign. His reply:

Hi Ryan,

Don will sign anything, as long as...

...it's got something from him in it (so don't give him a "CARL BARKS

LIBRARY"), because he doesn't sign other people's work.

...it's not one of those editions from BOOM! He will absolutely not

sign any BOOM comics, including that "Donald Duck Treasury" or what it

was called that only had Rosa stories in it. The only two BOOM books

he'll sign are their Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck volumes because

those were just a reprint of the Gladstone edition and thus authorized

by him.

As long as you pay attention to this, you'll be fine.

Cool story, bro. Too bad it doesn't say anything about Sig Series. :ohnoez:

My understanding is that has to be done as a clandestine operation.

Me:

I seem to recall hearing that Don will not sign for CGC, specifically the Signature Series program. Are you familiar with this and do you know if this is true or not?

Dude:

After checking Google, I suppose you mean this?

http://www.cgcsignatureseries.com/

I don't know if what you heard is true, but it sounds like something

from that "collector craze" Don refuses to take part in, so I wouldn't

be surprised if he didn't sign such items.
