X-Men 94 in what looked like NM/M (9.6) for under a grand. The guy lived in VA, but had issues with me to come physically pick it up. Maybe I ducked a bullet?

 

This and Silver Surfer #1 were the two comics I would drool over at my LCS in 1982. Back then it was about the story not the point of them being keys. Paper route money wouldn't cover those back then...

A saw a double cover Amazing Spider-Man #96 (or 97 or 98) that went really cheap on eBay. This was about 1 month before I started collecting double covers

 

Also, the day I visited the Frazetta museum and forgot to set a snipe on a signed portfolio on eBay and it sold for about 30-40% of the price of every set before or after.

An Avengers 1 ( 3.0-3.5) that sold at my LCS for $100.00..I got there 30 mins to late

Also missed out on a avengers 4 graded 1.5 for $150.00 considering a cgc 0.5 just sold today on ebay for a little under $300.00
