Which is a shame too, because recently SD has had problems at QB.

Ryan Leaf, Drew Brees, Doug Flutie, etc.

I just hope Rivers works out for them. Tough Division to be in.

22. Buffalo - QB J.P. Losman

I told everyone Buffao would trade up in the 1st to get a QB! acclaim.gif

I just thought maybe higher and get Rivers... 893crossfingers-thumb.gifsmirk.gif

They gave up a 1st next year though. Was that too much? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

"6 CHICAGO DT Tommie Harris Oklahoma 6'2" 292 Jr.

Chicago trades with Detroit

Lovie Smith wants athletic D-linemen, so if he expects to get one this year he'll have to trade up from No. 14 to get the best available. Harris fits Smith's mold much better than Vince Wilfork, so in order to get Harris before the Falcons do, the Bears will have to pony up. "

How did this beast drop to # 14 ?

Was it his height ? Anybody got the dirty ? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Seahawks went with DT Tubbs out of Texas with their first pick, and LB Boulware out of FSU in the second round. Two very solid additions.....I'm happy so far. Ray Rhodes must be ecstatic! laugh.gif

Anyone else with some opinions on their team's pick ups?

I will tell you that JP Losman was first at UCLA before trasnferring to Tulane. I think he is a malcontent stiff. sorry.gif

Usually the Pat's drafts leave me feeling like I'd stared at the sun for to long but this years crop looks pretty promising...

1. Wilfork DT Miami

2. Watson TE Georgia

3. Hill DE LSU

4. Scott SS Florida

Line help, a good blocking/surehanded tight end (think they have his weight listed wrong at 253, ESPN said something about closer to 300?) and a little backfield back-up.

I sure hope the Patriots become one of those perennial super-powers that to the dismay of everyone are always on the major network channels and hog more MNF games than anyone else like just the good ole Cowboys, 49's, Broncos, Bills etc from years past.

it's about time

CRC

go Pats!
