Like Rick Vetich, John Totleben does not do conventions, signings or appearances.

 

But everyone who collects comics should know John's contribution to our hobby.

Infamous for his work on Swamp Thing and Miracleman (both with Alan Moore), his work is about as awe inspiring as it gets.

 

I've put off this op for a long time due to Mr. Totleben's health, but was very happy to discuss a signature op with him over the weekend.

 

This is a limited op, so please take note---

 

There will be TEN (10) spots open for board members, at $65 per spot which includes John's signing fee, grading and shipping rolled into one.

 

There will be only one spot per person and to make it fair to East and West coast members, the op will be open at 10PM EST on the boards.

 

Mr. Totleben has also graciously offered to do small head doodle/sketches for an additional sum, of which there will be FIVE (5) spots. This is not separate from the signatures (IE, 10 sigs + 5 doodles).

This means that out of the ten spots, half of you can get head shots for an additional $40 each.

 

So to summarize, 1 book w/signature only = $65

1 book w/sig + sketch= $105

 

No sketch covers.

 

Please do not drop :takeit: to the thread until 10PM EST this evening.

 

Books will be needed no later then Aug. 25th.
