Trippin' down memory lane

Here's something a little different... a scan from The Buyer's Guide (now known as Comic Buyer's Guide) from the Summer of 1975... The handwritten "birthday wishes" ad was a present from my Dad to my brother and I... we lived in the middle of nowhere in Northern California, so TBG was our primary source for back issues (with subscriptions being the primary source of new books). So we read every issue of TBG cover-to-cover...

 

Imagine our surprise when we saw this! Of course it actually blends in well with the crude hand-written ads surrounding it 27_laughing.gif

...I especially like the ad stating "I'm hungary!" hehe - see kids, comics will rot your mind and erode your spelling skillz!
