If you haven't tried it yet, go through eBay's user search and request his contact info. He might have provided a valid phone number even if his email addy is bad.

First things first.

 

Report this to eBay. Invalid contact information can get someone suspended (ref: the recent Lighthouse incident).

 

And yes, you can pull the phone number from eBay's system if you want to contact this person directly.

 

Or, be patient - you may get an e-mail saying, "Hey, I just changed my e-mail ID to..."

 

Then, if no word after 7 days, file your non-paying bidder alert.

 

Offer the under bidder the "Second chance" - but not at any discount.

 

Finally, if no word after 10 more days, file for your FVF refund.

I had a guy last week that this happened to. He bought a high $$$$ book from me, and I got a bit stressed. 4 days later, payment arrives through paypal confirmed address. So thats where it's going.

 

Give it a few days then start to look more into it.

 

Oh, And I would say the main problem is that he is using AOL never EVER use AOL if you have to choose
