Pacific Comics only published 7 issues of Alien worlds before Eclipse took over the reins.

 

This cover was never actually used for issue #8. Pacific comics went bankrupt, and Eclipse took over with issue #8....and Alien Worlds #8 actually had different artwork than what is shown here.

 

This artwork was used on Alien Worlds #9 published by Eclipse...not published by Pacific....so I am wondering....if Pacific actually made copies of this cover before going under. If they did I would like to own a cover proof. (thumbs u

The same sort of situation exists with the Groo Special #1, and probably a few others. The likelihood is, there are no actual physical proofs lying around of either, but that it was just in house advertising paste ups.

 

Thanks....that's too bad.... :(

 

It would be awesome to own one of these.... :cool:
