The letters "Victory Boys" just float above the page. :cloud9:

 

I agree ... great stuff. Nice lurid examples of classic Timely! Looks like a nice line up in USA #5!

Did those Don Winslow comics have the biggest indicia ever?

 

From my small collection of G.A. books it appears that Fawcett's in general have large readable indicias. I checked Hopalong and Whiz and found similar indicias.

 

 

If they are the largest ever, perhaps others with larger G.A. collections can chime in. hm

 

This indica is not quite as clear, but a visual check shows the lettering is the same size as in the Winslow book.
