Protection of comics

I'm now sure that it's too difficult to insure my collection of comics books, here in France (i meet a few insurance companies, with no success).

So i'm seriously thinking to another solution:

 

A bank safe deposit box (to put some of my most valuable comics in)

 

My question is:

 

Do you have some comics sleeping in your bank ?

Yes...

No, but I know Timely does and he has high res color scans of the books at his house so he can still in essence look at his books.

I do indeed.

No, but in case of fire I do have a smoke alarm that should allow all of them plenty of time to get out of the house. We've done a few fire drills, so they know which window to crawl out of, then they'll meet me in front of the house.
