Yes, raw books are returnable if we miss restoration.

If by "guarantee the grade" you mean guarantee that CGC will grade the book the same or better than we did, no we don't make that guarantee. But if a buyer receives a raw book from us and is not satisfied with the grade, it may be returned.

I kind of expected the latter since grading is subjective, but I thought it was worth asking.

Thanks.

Question on your raw comics.

If a buyer submits a raw comic from mycomicshop do you guarantee no Qualifiers or restoration?

Also, do you guarantee the grade?

I've noticed on the books 6.0 and up and especially the higher grades like 7.5, 8.0 etc, mycomicshop's grades seem to average about 0.5 to 1.0 point more strict than cgc would. I didnt think that was possible!

If you notice their are almost no books graded over 8.5 in the auction. So if you see an 8.5, you know it would probably cgc at 9.0-9.2 especially if you pressed it.

Its probably a ood business model overdeliver and under promise. I've also noticed Harley Yee grades his books really strictly as well, so people dont mind paying a high price for a VF nbecause they know its really a vf/nm.

Why can't I use my store credit?

+1

I looked into this today for you guys. I can't allow trade credit to be used directly, since we pay trade credit out at 1.2x to 2.0x the cash price. But if anybody wants to convert their trade credit to same-as-cash credit that can be used on the auctions, PM me and I can do that for you. For example if you previously sold us comics where our cash offer was $75 and the trade credit offer was $100 and you took trade credit, I can remove your $100 trade credit and replace it with $75 same-as-cash credit.
