This doesn't come out for a few more months.

 

I heard that there is a Transformers cover with toys as well...

 

(might even be a Ghostbusters or Star Trek toy cover since they have those rights as well?)

I like the idea of toys on a variant cover... (I gues it shows I like action figures too)

I know a guy that spends hours/days creating "scenes" and photographing them. He has self published one comic so far doing this. Apparently there is quite a following for this type of thing. I'm guessing the cover will be more popular than most would expect.

They are both a great idea.

 

10 year olds aren't buying $10 variant editions.

 

It's the 30-40 year olds, and those 30 to 40 year olds loved these toys as kids.

 

I guarantee you if they did some Star Wars versions like this they would be MONSTER sellers.

Well, in fairness photography is an art but I'm with you on that. They're a clever novelty but not my cup of tea.
