As just announced in the Gold forum, I've taken custody of Gator's Catman collection and will be listing many, many issues in this thread.

First up then is CRASH COMICS #4 CGC 4.0 SLIGHTLY BRITTLE PAGES two pieces of tape on interior cover $550 SOLD!

 

Bear in mind that "slightly brittle" probably means a small patch of brittleness rather than page quality as a whole.

 

First appearance of Catman. GERBER 7

 

Last recorded sale was a 2.0 for $448 in 2010. There are two copies in 4.0, and the last one sold went for $661 in April 2004.

 

Believe it or not this is jointly the second highest graded, and the top graded copy is only a 6.0 - the Cosmic Aeroplane copy, which went for a whopping $2271 in 2007!
