I'll never forget getting these from my uncle on Christmas eve, 1977. Just looking at the covers brings back every sound, smell etc from then. I remember waiting for my cousins to leave our house so I could read them, then finally hanging out on the couch in our living room that night as the snow dumped out of the sky, periodically checking to see how much was on the ground. One of my best childhood memories.

 

Apologies for the self-indulgence. It's amazing how some things just trigger memories.
