I think that book was done at a con, but I'm not 100% sure on that

he was right next to Ed benes at SDCC right? I remember thinking, I don't know who he is but his art looks cool.

Con sketches. This guy is good whether it's a take home or a con sketch. Here's a few more. The Secret Invasion ones are rather cool. These were the first release blanks which had the slick cover. He did pencils on them despite the slickness.
